The counterfeiting of cosmetic products is growing rapidly. Most of these counterfeit products are being marketed by online suppliers.

The report just received from the French Customs Intelligence throws new light on this illegal trade where consumers are at the receiving end. Describing it as "exceptional and unprecedented", two illegal manufacturing facilities with laboratory have been raided by the French authorities. In one facility, they uncovered 45,000 counterfeit products and in the second in Calvados they confiscated 17,000 counterfeit products. The total counterfeit products seized by the French authorities in 2015 was 7.7 million.

Consumers need to ignore those products which are being offered at unrealistically cheap price, or with too-good-to-be-true marketing claims. As Herbally Radiant makes it a point to mention all the ingredients on the container and packaging labels consumers should read the contents of the products and eliminate possibility of deception.
