GROWING AWARENESS ABOUT POTENTIALLY HARMFUL BEAUTY PRODUCTS

In an attempt to safeguard health and safety of its nationals, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has notified WTO that it plans to amend and enforce the quality control regulations.

Korean beauty market is quite huge and in recent years several imported products have flooded it with questionable cosmetics. Most of such products make unverifiable claims, and do not contain sufficient information on their labels.

Korean notification apply particularly to imported cosmetic products (from places like China), obliging businesses to amend the labeling information so as to discourage false promotion of potentially risky products.

As a matter of fact, the counterfeit cosmetic products and other potentially harmful skincare  products are being marketed aggressively everywhere with unrealistic claims, unduly influencing consumers.  It is for the consumers, therefore, to be vigilant about it, and to make sure that the products they buy contain, on their labels and/or packaging all the product information, including the ingredients.

The natural cosmetic products still score over the chemical or petro-based cosmetics for efficacy, safety and for overall good effect on health. At Herbally Radiant one can find out the immensely beneficial properties of herbal organic ingredients in beauty products.
