BEING OUT OF SHAPE HARMFUL TO HEALTH, LONGEVITY AND OVERALL BEAUTY

The remarks of Gretchen Reynolds in his latest article in New York Times reminds us how being out of shape could be more harmful to health and longevity than most people expect, according to a new, long-term study of middle-aged men. The study finds that poor physical fitness may be second only to smoking as a risk factor for premature death.

The new study, which was published this week in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, where researchers examined long-term database of information about Swedish men, is relevant not only for health and longevity, but also for maintaining pleasant appearance and beautiful looks.

From the point of view of skin’s health, Herbally Radiant has always highlighted the vital need for regular physical work out, and for healthy nutritious food that has more fruits and vegetables and less of extra sugar.  Among negative factors, smoking creates serious impact on skin; it causes premature aging signs and lines on face, besides other skin disorders like spots and blemishes on face. Fitness exercises help increased blood circulation to all parts of body, thereby  strengthening  the immune system of body and skin. Increased blood circulation helps eliminate various toxins from the system that is clearly reflected in a bright healthy facial appearance. It also helps maintain elasticity of skin, thereby reducing formation of lines and wrinkles.

It will be useful here to refer to the findings of the researchers at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden of the surprising benefits of short, high-intensity interval exercises, and learn how antioxidants play important role in overall health. They found that high-intensive exercise breaks down calcium channels in the muscle cells, causing a lasting change in how the cells handle calcium, and is an excellent signal for adaption, such as the formation of new mitochondria. Mitochondria are like the cell’s power plants, and changes that stimulate the formation of new mitochondria increase cells’ endurance. From the point of skin care, we notice that the breakdown of calcium channels, that is triggered by the high-intensity exercise, is caused by increase in free radicals, which are very reactive and oxidize cellular proteins.

The R&D team at Herbally Radiant launched its herbal organic formulations with such ingredients that are rich in antioxidants. Most of its products, therefore, contain vitamins A, E and C. These rich nutrients reinvigorate the facial muscles and rejuvenate skin cells. The result is a revitalized, velvety skin that is well nourished and naturally beautiful.
