STUDIES LINK VEGETABLE EXTRACTS TO ANTI-AGING EFFECTS.

New study by scientists at the Viospectrum Life Science Instt, Eulji, Gachen and Sungkyunkwn Universities, referred to by Stephen Daniells in online Cosmetic Design, USA, reveals that the skin aging occurs when the structure of the skin begins to weaken, which leads to the formation of lines and wrinkles. This is linked to the decrease in levels of type 1 collagen, the main structural component of the cellular matrix.  The scientists who experimented by performing in vitro experiment exposing human dermal fibroblasts to vegetable peptones  concluded that the cell proliferation was significantly increased  with vegetable extracts.

With years of experience in herbal organic formulations for enhancing beauty and looks, we have seen the excellent results of plant based ingredients in fighting aging signs in skin.  Among the most effective plants that we include in our organic cosmetic products are: Aloe Barbadensis,  Aegle Marmelos fruit,  Benincasa Cerifera fruit, Citric Acid, Coconut and tree extracts, Grape Seed Oil, Ginger Oil, Holy Basil, Lavender Oil, Patchouli Oil, Rosemarinus Officianlis, Turmeric, Vegetable Glycerin, Vetiver Oil  and hundreds of others.

The most important organic ingredients in Herbally Radiant products are the special Essential Oils (EO) that have been chosen to derive optimum benefit for the skin when used in combination with other compatible ingredients. The EOs are derived from flowers, plants, resins and roots. These are the basic life force of organic flowers and plants, and are very effective in helping increase circulation and promote new cell growth, besides eliminating the toxins.

EOs consist of tiny aromatic molecules that are readily absorbed by the body. Oils are introduced into the body by inhalation which has the quickest effect. Entering through the Cillia (the fine hairs lining the nose) to the limbic system which when stimulated releases endorphins, neurotransmitters and other 'feel-good' chemicals, thus leading to a stress-free mind that is essential for maintaining well hydrated, revitalized and radiating skin.

The Korean scientists have now confirmed the powerful effects of vegetables and plants on skin – that has long been an integrated approach of the herbalists and those engaged in formulating beauty formulations with the help of various plants and flowers.  In oriental cultural practices, these are valued highly and are in use for centuries.  As a matter of fact, herbal experts have already experimented and tested the efficacy of plant-based ingredients in fighting premature aging signs.
