REDISCOVERING BEAUTY OF MUD-CLAY FACE MASK BY LEADING EXPERTS

The report of the beauty industry analyst firm NPD group, confirms the recent trend that experts are now rediscovering the natural minerals in clays that help restore glow of skin, revitalizing it and enhancing beauty. The report highlights the consumer’s growing preference for natural face masks that is driving the sales revenue in Europe.
The use of mud and clay in face masks is not an innovation. These have been used for centuries in Egypt, India, China and many other societies.
In its specially formulated face mask “Turmeric and Clay Mask”, Herbally Radiant has been using Bentonite and Kaolin Clay for years. The minerals in these clays have the ability to absorb excess oils, dirt and harmful toxins from the skin. Clays can be used mainly in facials, body powders, lotions, creams and bath salts.
Each clay is made up of different mineral contents, and each clay type has a different effect on the skin. The high mineral content of clay rejuvenates the skin while the clay exfoliates and stimulates blood circulation to the skin. Regular use of clay facials will remove dead skin cells, improve circulation to the skin, remove debris from the pores and bring about a smooth healthy glow. The minerals in clays have the ability to absorb toxins from the skin but they differ in their level of absorption.
Some of the clays found uniquely beneficial for use on skin are : Kaolin clay and Bentonite clay. The mild Kaolin Clay, also known as White Clay, is best suited to dry skin as it is tinted with iron oxides that gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin while improving the circulation, giving it a beautiful pink color. It does not draw oils from the skin and can be used on dry skin types.
Bentonite Clay is formed from volcanic ash sediments and is also known as Montmorillonite. It has more than 70 trace minerals. This clay has been used to treat mineral deficiencies, Bentonite clay is also used to treat numerous skin afflictions. In facial mask, it removes dirt and impurities from the skin while as an internal supplement, it removes toxins and heavy metals from the body, and has many additional health benefits.
Herbally Radiant experts have been promoting use of clay in face masks  because of the powerful therapeutic effect of certain minerals.  These stimulate skin, accelerate cell regeneration process, facilitate better skin respiration and optimize the penetration of active moisturizers. These minerals are not found in pharma-based products or plant-based organic ingredients.
In its most popular Turmeric and Clay Mask ($ 23.90), Herbally Radiant has used Kaolin Clay and Bentonite Clay which have proved to be among the most effective skin-friendly minerals. To derive added benefit, turmeric powder has also been mixed that makes this formulation uniquely beneficial. The turmeric (curcuma longa) has exceptionally very high healing properties. Its topical application, in combination with other ingredients, creates amazing effect on all skin types. The Herbally Radiant’s mask also contains Vitamin B5, and Vitamin C Ester to transform skin into a smooth, revitalizxed velvety state.
